The Matakana Coast

Mmmmmmmm Omaha Berries from the Matakana Coast! A 40 minute drive north of us it was sunny and beautiful today... was so nice to leave the winds behind, they were doing a super job of churning up the ocean.

Fish, ducks, Thomas, Ice cream - Hector was more than happy!

We found some fun concrete pots to house our strawberries and came home with heap of herbs and vege seedlings. They needed a place to live too so Chris cracked out the hammer and saw and made us a vege garden. The two little bean seedlings are from a couple of the seeds that Hector plugged in the thick clay a few weeks ago - what a surprise!
