Strike!

Sunday was rainy and wet so we headed to the bowling alley...scary!  That is one determined face on my boy.

 A very close eye needed to be kept on Florence as I found her numerous times with a bowling ball in hand ready to fire it down the lane - trouble is its hard not to keep your back turned when you're bowling your ball.  Surprisingly she never tried to chase the ball down the alley, now that would have been fun.

Hector the School Boy!

Well, he is there right now and not a tear to be seen!  The whole family walked him to school this morning and it was all very easy.  He's met his new teacher Mrs Price, found his desk, and it appears he is loving it, wonder if he'll think the same by this afternoon or this time next week?

The wind this morning made for a few funky fringes

Fly Fly Fly that Kite!

I can so vividly remember as kids trying to make kites and getting kites as gifts and never ever did we have any success with gettiing them airborne...........well, all that has faded into distant memories because the kite Hector got from his friend Maddie is a super star of kites! In true Hector style by the third minute he was giving Chris direction on how it should be done.

The Very Last Kindy Day

Friday was Hector's last day at kindy - I don't know, I think maybe this face tells the story of a wee boy who's going to miss those beautiful teachers at Waimauku Kindergarten.

Hector's wish for his last day as a kindy kid was to do a double whammy of The ZOO and MOTAT!  We managed it but they were power visits with a leisurely tram ride in between.
