Hector had a BIG weekend and by Monday afternoon it all caught up on him.

This is the first time Florence went for a ride in the big buggy - we went running and she loved it.

My baby boy looks so grown up in this photo, next it'll be school I suppose. Boo hoo.

A Taupo Birthday!

This long weekend was also Chris's birthday, so we headed to Taupo. COLD WET GREY -but that was only outside, inside we had a roaring fire, home made custard squares (from the second attempt) and lots and lots of cuddles!

Yes, I thought I was clever too creating this monster!

All the rain turned the front lawn into a sea of mushrooms, Hector was occupied for at least half an hour chopping them all down.


McCafe is never my first choice but it ticked all the boxes on this occasion.

That is a look of 'I have my daddy fully wrapped around my pinky'.

In The Garden

Florence and I spent a little time in the garden last week. The last of the basil was about to go to seed so we stripped them along with some parsley and whipped up some pesto. YUM!

All that hard work made a bit of a lie down necessary!
