Mothers Day

As the look on H's face tells, these were not the easiest photos to get! But, we've had a photo of the two of us on mothers day since Hector was born so we had to keep it going. What amazes me every day about being a mum is that I understand through and through why and how my own mum did the things she did for us when we were kids.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Our Nana Joan is a Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother!

Didi, Nana Joan, Pammy and me.

Poppa Tom got in on the photo session too.

Me and my Mum and my Nan

Hector being just a little bit active - good job Nan for holding him down!

And a lovely shot of my grandparents (and dad's sneeky eye!).

Palmerston North was full of sunshine yesterday.

A little bit of shopping, afternoon tea and a photo op with the ducks!

Week One in Wanganui

Race Day! Aunty Kylie had Angus for a few hours yesterday so she picked us up and took us to the races to see Lisa race. Great effort on this lift Aunty Ky, their combiine weight almost equals yours!

Virginia Lake is such a wonderful place for kids. The playground has now got a big fence right around it so it keeps the children in and most of the hungry ducks out.

Splash Centre

How good does my mum look in that swim cap!!!

Nana has been swimming in the evenings so we went to see her in action. The little pool at the Splash Centre is super for little ones - it goes from a few centimeters deep to about knee height.

Duck Day!

Duckshooting season started this weekend and all the men were there to take their first shot at a duck. Hector could hardly contain his excitement about being allowed to stay up for the 'duck party' in the evening. He made it to 9.30 pm which was a grand effort after such a huge day.

This was H's duck shooting jersey from last year, was a little too tight for comfor though.
