Exploring the Gifts

These are a few things the kids got for Christmas...

we're feeding the birds!

And splashing in the backyard!

This smile says it all - she LOVES it.

Muriwai

It's pertty easy to fall in love with Muriwai Beach - for me just seeing Hector race around in and out the water for almost an hour non stop was enough.

2011 Begins

Day 1:
Taupo for a swim.

Day 2:
No one is really looking that impressed with the gondola ride....
Off to Rotorua for a whiz down the luge. 4 times took 2 hours - we were both surprised Hector tolerated the lines, shows he must really love it.

The ever patient Florence was happy to hang out for a few hours in the sun! She was more tolerant than me, but thats not really saying much.

Love

A picture of love!

Clan Macbeth

Just a handful of the Macbeth family gathering at our home post Christmas. We met some long lost cousins - Jenny and Anthony with their kids Thomas and Lara. Hopefully they are enjoying some safe and fun travels around the south island.

Annabel & William Eyre

Brad & Sarah - looking pretty chuffed here with their two brand new babies.

Christmas Christmas Christmas!

This Christmas morning was the first time Hector (and Florence) had woken up in their own house. It was lovely. We missed the family action though. Luckily we did it all again when we met mum and dad and the Eyre-Dawsons in Taupo for New Year.

Florence's first Christmas present.
a Christmas arrangement.
This was the newest addition though - our niece Aimee welcomed her darling baby Emily in the early hours of Christmas day.

Hanging out at Birth Care on Christmas afternoon.
