Poppa Meets Florry!

Mum and Dad arrived on the early flight this morning and shuttled in to us. We had pancakes with bacon and bananas waiting...yum yum yum!

Hector and I fed the ducks yesterday at Chelsea. We didn't even fall in!

Ducks were happy to see our bread.

Flying Visit

Popa Tom was in Taupo staying with Brad, playing a few rounds of golf and i bit of fishing......

... we thought it was a great opportunity to bring Florence to Taupo so she could meet her Great-Popa! We arrived at 8.30 one night and left at ten the next morning but we achieved our goal.

Brads looking well interested!

Stuff

This is a look of achievement. H wanted me to make a goal post but i said i was too busy, he spazzed out then got on with making his own. I think even he was surprised he could do it!

Wrapped around the pinky perhaps?

It looks here like Florry is praying.... maybe that her brother not crush her while she's hangin on his bed?

Bath time is still 'so much fun'.

Dinner Alfresco

So this is what was happening before Chris cooked us a beautiful salmon meal...

And this is the meal in progress. Meal times are usually a little rough around here, its when our wee poppet likes to get vocal, but this night was one out of the box, so pleasant.

The blanky proved to be a bit too snuggly though and we had a sleeper on our hands.

A perfect representation of my world!

Nana Collins meets Florence

I think she's nana's favourite....well, until the next one arrives anyway!

These are the biggest we've seen her eyes.

It wasn't all about cuddling babies though, we had a kick around of the ball at the park - Nana Collins has a mean drop kick! Hector manage to keep his jewels safe while climbing the tree.

Chris just hates this - can't you tell! So does Florry too by the looks! Although its just wind making a smile, we still think its damn cute!

The POLE Achievement!

Fireman Hector!

Yes, HJM has done it. After months and months of looking down the infamous firemans pole at the park he finally conquered it! Here's how it went down...

All this whizzing down poles tired him out too!

Peaceful Slumber

I'm by no means stating that I have my baby sorted,....but a little bit of experience with the first one goes a long way. Keeping in mind too, I'd only changed one nappy of a two year old before I became a mother! Florence is such a blessing to us, I just want to make the most of every single precious minute.
