Birkenhead Wharf

We went fishing at the Birkenhead Wharf yesterday and when we got a little bored of that we tried out the play ground! Florence slept and slept.

Margie Spoiling Hector!

This little boy was a bit lucky yesterday. He received a parcel in the post from Margie and inside was this super flexible meccano buggy. Chris and Hector had a LOT of fun builing it! Thanks Marg, you are so thoughtful. xx

Fishing and Stuff

The tide was right for a fish on Saturday so we went and slung our hooks off the wharf. Caught half a dozen little snapper but we threw them back.

Bit of crafty antics going on here - he did a fabulous job of painting his truck.


We visited Gwennie and Les this week too. I love this photo of Florence's skin against Gwennies.

The milk bar is open and fully functional! Florence has put back on 140 g of the 210 g that she lost in her first week. Yeeeeeha!

Florence Eliza Macbeth

Our precious wee daughter made an early entrance on 10-2-10.
We've named her Florence Eliza after my beautiful (and late) grandmother Joan Florence.
She weighed in at 3kgs after a one hour twenty birth.
She looks just like her big brother Hector did just a refined version.
We are besotted. Hector is pretty sure he is too.
