Taupo

Taupo put on super weather for us while we were there visiting Uncle Brad and Aunty Sarah. Even though it wasn't warm the sunshine still inspired Hector to run through the sprinkler. The best kept lawn in the street award definately lives at no. 23!

This is random, but H pulled this out of his wardrobe today and inisisted he wear it. Surprised that he got it on, its for 12months! Still extremely cute though!

BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!!!!!!

I didn't think it could be done but my husband managed to keep a secret from me!! The fridge full of beer and cheese gave off a mystery all of their own considering the next weeks plans.....but he did a super job at arranging all the details! What a beautiful dinner with a beautiful bunch of people. Thanks everyone.

33

Does anyone over 20 like getting older I wonder? I wasn't too fussed about having birthday celebrations this year, but having this wee one and my wonderful husband in my life every day makes me want to live forever. Thanks guys! xxx

HJM wasn't really into the family portrait sitting today.

The Last Day of our Holiday

I felt like something was missing from our holiday photos, then this morning Hector reminded me of the kitten at Lilliputt Farm just out of Taupo. So here is my kitten loving son adoring these 6 beauties. Thankfully none were strangled!

Nap

It's been a while since I took one of these, but today was a perfect Hector sleeping example. 20 degrees in his room and he is under the covers and sweating like nothing else!

Bait Catching

Hector was given a bait catcher and net from Rocco for his birthday. Since the minute he opened it he asked can we please go wharf fishing. So, finally, 2 days later we went down to Birkenhead wharf and slung the bait catcher into the tide. Thankfully it didn't dissapoint!
