Poxy Piha

Cabin fever is setting in with us not being able to take Hector anywhere so we piled in the car today and drove out to Piha. It was poxy weather, and we had the poxy boy confined to the car. Hot chippies and a piece of fish was a bit of fun though so it wasnt all bad.

Beautiful Friends

True friends are pretty rare in this world, ones that will drop anything to help you, will tell you what you want to hear as well as what you don't, they'll be there for you when you need them and love you for who you are. Thank God for my best friend... she's one of a kind. Thanks for the flowers and for being you Kylie.xxx

Playdough and the Pox!

Every kid has to get them right...but it doesn't mean it has to be fun. The yellow pinetarsol bath was a bit of a novelty and so was painting ourselves with calamine (before I learnt that it dries the pox out and makes them scar) but the night was a little bit of a rough one for everyone.

We did manage to make this cool digger from playdough though.

Rocco Turns 3!

It was a big day out on Rocco's birthday. A ferry ride to the city, trained from Britomart to Swanston out West somewhere to meet up with Coryn and Cooper then home again.

I thought this pic was appropriate... now we're 3! Well, Hector tells me he's 3 in a minute.

THE PARTY!

We spent a wet and windy Saturday morning warmly celebrating Rocco's third brithday. The school hall was warm and cosy until the power went out...made the birthday candles look good though! I caught these two little boys tucking into the birthday cake decorations just prior to the cake cutting, cheeky!

Rocco got this flash bike for his brithday and can he maneuver it.

Not really our babies anymore are they.

4th of July Cupcakes

Although a few days late we celebrated independence day today with the making of some patriotic cupcakes. AJ and KJ visited so they did'nt hang around too long (the cupcakes that is!)
HAPPY 4th of JULY!

Freak Hail Downpour

A random hail down pour hit us this afternoon. It came as quick as it went was accompanied by a few claps of thunder and now the sun is shining!

Mooooooooooooo

What a family portrait!
We went out to the farm to help Neil feed out. With all these clothes on we didn't get cold!

This is Chris driving the tractor! Hector LOVED seeing his dad behind the wheel of that big cracking fork thing as he calls it.

Some Beautiful Flowers for a Beautiful Lady

We said goodbye to our beloved Nan a week ago.
Its hard not to be sad.
She taught us so much.
Love you Nan
